Lately I've been experimenting with fiber art! So far it's been small, quick things mostly. I am however attempting a pretty big project which is embroidering a comic! It's a 12 panel comic called ThreadChase which you can read on my instagram!
For my comic's class we each wrote scripts and traded them. This was my comic I created from the Script I received.
So in June I acquired a full time summer job. I've been so busy I haven't had time to post. I've been making art though. I've been making LOTS of art, and once the school year hits I'm going to be back to my regular posting schedule, and you're going to get a lot of content. Between the artwork and sketches for cannonfest, the ten page comic I made and sold at a local show, and all the other miscellaneous sketches I've done throughout the months, there will plenty of things for you to look at.
If you follow my instagram you can see some previews of some things I've been working on. It's easier for me to post on instagram regularly because all I have to do is draw and take a picture. The images aren't the best resolution though, and I can only really post one at a time, so don't worry I'll be back to wordpress soon enough!
Thank you for your patience, and enjoy the rest of your summer!
Now in regards to the high school section, that's not there to make anyone feel bad. But it was a thing that happened. I loved my classmates, and I still do, and I made some wonderful friends but that sort of thing was just a fact. I'm not gonna point fingers at anyone, it's just a thing. High Schoolers can be really unintentionally (and even intentionally at times) cruel. But it was an important growing experience, and I'm pretty pleased with how that helped shape me into who I am now.
NOW THAT'S OUT OF THE WAY.
I would absolutely love to go back and redo this one. It was the second full comic I ever produced, and I did it completely traditionally. Despite it's flaws, I'm still kinda happy with it, even if it's just on a sentimental level.
I love Hockey.

This is a little different than my usual post of neon doodles, but this was my main focus my last two weeks of the semester. I had to make an animatic for my storyboard class and I've had this video imagined in my head for more than four years now so I jumped on the chance to finally make it. I hope you enjoy it!
In my Philosophy class we went over Socrates' opinion on artists and how they fit into his dream society that they were talking about in Plato's Republic. To me personally Socrates came off as kind of bitter about art and artists in general. Here I reveal the backstory of his hatred of the arts. Also Amantha's a girl because in class we're going over the modern version of the book.
